About me

I’m a software engineer. I just love making computers do cool things. Over the years I’ve tinkered with so many personal projects (like this website), but not every one of them has seen the light of day.

I’m part of the amazing team behind Dotlas, turning messy data into insights that businesses actually use. We’ve been building it from the ground up since 2021, and I’ve cherished every part of the journey.

I enjoy going for long walks or runs along the corniche, here in Juffair. When I’m really in the zone, you will find me at the gym, at least three times a week.

I spend quite a bit of my time watching TV shows and movies, and gaming. Even the music I listen to is mostly a collection of hit songs that became famous from a film, or from the official soundtrack of a game I played as a kid.

I do love traveling as much as anyone, but only when there is a particular purpose to the trip. I think walking and exploring cities is the best way to get to know what a new place is all about.

I’m quite the foodie. I don’t cook frequently, but I do enjoy it when I make the time for it. I especially love baking sweet treats like chocolate chip cookies and gingerbread biscuits.

What I love most is a good story. One about change and growth. I’m a sucker for a redemption arc.

I’m also all about teamwork rather than personal glory. You’ll find that I would be the first to suggest a co-op game during a board game night. It is part of why I also enjoy following sports, especially football.
